Installation and optimization of Isfahan Oil Refinery’s wastewater treatment system in order to increase efficiency and improve the quality of output water and reduce maintenance and repair costs.

The source of incoming water to the wastewater treatment plant is the cooling towers, boilers and oily water of Isfahan Oil Refinery. The final capacity of the treatment plant was 10800 m3/h.

Project achievements

• Increasing the purification efficiency to 95% recovery
• Implementation of the first UF in Isfahan oil refinery
• Reduction of treatment plant effluent to evaporative pounds
• Preventing environmental hazards and filling evaporation ponds of Isfahan Refinery
